This feature will help users quickly locate an unfinished message in the chat as a “Draft” indicator will now appear for any unfinished messages and move them to the top of the chats list.

"Whether you get interrupted or distracted while typing or simply forget to send a message, this feature helps you save time and effort, allowing you to find and get back to those messages quickly," the company said in a release.

How To Use WhatsApp Drafts

This is a very simple feature and users are not required do to anything. The app will itself start indicating "Draft" in green colour if you have left a message without sending it.

The label will make it easy for users to find the chat and start it from where they had left off. Just like the feature available in emails, the recipient will not be able to see the draft.

WhatsApp Secret Code

Meanwhile, WhatsApp has introduced a Chat Lock feature to enhance privacy by securing chats. This feature includes a Secret Code that users can assign to the Chat Lock folder and access simply by searching for the code within the app. When the Chat Lock feature is enabled, the locked chats are organized in a dedicated chat folder.

The secret code enables users to set a customised password for the locked chats. Additionally, it also allows users to designate a unique name for the locked chats. Users can also hide the chats from the top of the app. Therefore, it becomes difficult for others to find the locked chats.
