Sony said there are “slight differences” in the look of the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition.

“The PS5 gameplay experience will be the same, so the choice is all yours. While there are some slight differences in the look of each model, for the overall design, we wanted to deliver a console that's bold, stunning, and unlike any previous generation of PlayStation,” Sony added.

The tech giant has made some big changes to the design of PS5 and it looks absolutely stunning. The PlayStation 5’s design looks futuristic and will come with accessories such as  a camera, headphones, and a remote control.

The PS5 will sport 16GB of GDDR6 RAM. Unlike the PS4 which had the traditional hard drive, the PS5 comes with a solid-state drive (SSD). The PS5 will also support 8K graphics, 4K graphics at a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3D audio. What comes as a relief for gamers is that the PS5 will be backwards compatible with PS4 games.

Sony didn’t reveal the price or firm release date of the PS5 but is unlikely to come cheap. Pricing of the accessories also remains unknown at this moment.

Apart from this, the company also announced a list of games for PlayStation 5 which include Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Resident Evil 8, NBA 2K21, Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7.
