Sony India today announced the launch of HT-X8500 Soundbar with Dolby Atmos which creates cinematic quality surround sound in a single bar design without extra speakers.
Sony India today announced the launch of HT-X8500 Soundbar with Dolby Atmos which creates cinematic quality surround sound in a single bar design without extra speakers. The HT-X8500 has a powerful built-in dual subwoofer in the centre to experience deep bass sound with minimum space taken in your living space. This 2.1 inch single soundbar delivers object-based cinema sound that puts you in the middle of the action. HT-X8500_7 Cinematic surround sound with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support in a unique single bar without any extra speakers. The HT-X8500 is available across all Sony Center, major electronic stores and e-commerce portals in India.

With Sony’s Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround technology, maximum 7.1.2ch surround sound can be experienced from the HT-X8500 without the need for extra speakers. The built-in dual subwoofer delivers deep bass sound and with Cinema Mode on one of the seven optimized sound modes, you can experience every film at its best with just a click of a button. The HT-X8500 has eARC support for high-quality audio codecs to pass through from your TV to your soundbar.
Bluetooth wireless connectivity is also available in the HT-X8500, which allows you to wirelessly connect your soundbar to your Sony BRAVIA TV to achieve a clean look in your home. You can also pair your smartphone or tablet to wirelessly stream your playlist. As for Wireless connection via Bluetooth, BRAVIA supporting Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) is needed. A button for every sound – Now you can choose the button which is right for what you’re watching. There is a different sound mode for movies to music to sports: Theatre, Music, Game, News and Sport Mode.
