OnePlus, as a brand, is renowned for its continuous evolution in integrating technology to enhance user experience. In line with this, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has enabled its users to share files with iPhone users with ease. OnePlus rolled out a new feature named, ‘Share with iPhone’, doing away with the technical glitch faced while sharing files from Android to iOS.

Simplifying file sharing across different operating systems, the ‘Share with iPhone’ feature is available in the OxygenOS15, which is OnePlus’ latest operating system. Earlier, some OnePlus users reported technical glitches after updating their smartphones to OxygenOS15. The OxygenOS15 is to be rolled out to OnePlus 12, and initially, the feature will be available in the beta version. 

It is to be noted that to avail the the new feature, users are not required to download any third-party app, rather it will be integrated with the operating system only. Once downloaded, the ‘Share with iPhone’ feature asks users for multiple permissions. Furthermore, the feature needs to be kept open to facilitate smooth sharing of files. In order to share a file from Android to iOS, users will just be required to select a file and click on the sharing option. 

To use the ‘Share with iPhone’ feature, users should follow these steps: 

• Select the file to be shared and open the share menu.

• In the share menu, choose the ‘Share with iPhone’ option.

• The feature will open a Wi-Fi hotspot from the OnePlus device, allowing the iPhone user to join the temporary hotspot. 

• Once connected, users can proceed with transferring the selected files through the temporary hotspot. 

In other related news, OnePlus’ OxygenOS 15 has unveiled a Parallel Processing functionality that will improve animation interactions and enhance usability. It will lead to seamless transitions between applications. According to the company, users will be provided with a stable and smooth experience even while using almost 20 apps continuously.
