Samsung Electronic has provided a hint of the launch date of its latest smartphone from the Galaxy family.
 
Samsung on its official website said, “IF A PICTURE IS WORTH a thousand words, the latest member of the Galaxy family has a lot to say. On February 25, Samsung Electronics will showcase the next generation of Galaxy devices that reimagines the camera and redefines the way you share your moments.”
 
According to the company, it will mark the launch of the upcoming device with the Galaxy Unpacked celebration at 12 pm EST on February 25, 2018 (6pm CET) during Mobile World Congress.
 
"Live streaming of the Barcelona Unpacked celebration will be available at Samsung US Newsroom, Samsung.com/galaxy and Samsung Mobile Press sites," the company wesite said.
 
Earlier, there was a leak of Samsung Galaxy S9, wherein, it was stated that the smartphone will have will have 'Super Speed' camera technology in the form of a Super Speed-backed Dual Pixel 12-megapixel rear camera sensor, apart from a 'Super Slow-mo' mode and optical image stabilisation (OIS), according to Gadgets360.
 
Reportedly, the phone will be powered by Quad HD + sAMOLED, having a 8 megapixel selfie camera.
 
It will also be packed with stereo speakers tuned by AKG, IP68 water & dust resistant and Iris scanner.
 
Interestingly, the phone may also arrive with a 512GB storage option in a special variant and will be available for limited markets.
 
The Galaxy S9 will be packed with 4G RAM, while the bigger version of Galaxy S9+ will have 6GB RAM, having 64GB and 128GB as internal storage option.
