Samsung has just unveiled an INVISIBLE keyboard and its crazy!
The South Korean electronics giant, Samsung has unveiled an invisible keyboard at CES 2020 which uses AI and tracks your hands as they type.
The world is slowly moving from laptops and PCs to smartphones! Handsets are used by more and more people to send messages, reply to emails and for other office tasks. The problem, however, is that typing on a phone is much slower than on the other two devices. But, Samsung has apparently found a solution for that. The South Korean electronics giant has unveiled an invisible keyboard at CES 2020 which uses AI and tracks your hands as they type.
Called SelfieType, the keyboard uses a crazy tech and is only up for demo at the moment. The new device has been developed under the aegis of Samsung’s C-Lab program, a sort of in-house incubator for tech ideas. Some of these eventually end up as commercial products.
The company has released a promo for the device but didn't announce the launch plans for the same. It uses machine learning to track the movement of your hands through your phone’s camera. For the tech to work accurately, you may have to put your hands in a certain position.

The tech giant also introduced its next-generation QLED 8K smart TV lineup at the tech show in Las Vegas. "Its unprecedented immersive capabilities and unparalleled smart features empower consumers to pursue their passions more simply and more comprehensively than ever before," Joe Stinziano, Head of Consumer Electronics Business at Samsung Electronics America said in a statement.
The line up features company's flagship "Q950" QLED TV, which is the first TV in the industry to feature surround sound audio, true-to-life 8K resolution and a stunning, ultra-thin form factor. The TV practically eliminates the bezel around the display to create a screen-to-body ratio of nearly 99 per cent. It is powered by next-generation Quantum Processor 8K and features improved AI upscaling capabilities.
"8K resolution has the potential to transform our industry. Screens over 75-inch are the fastest growing segment in the market, and that segment is where 8K resolution matters the most," said Stinziano.
