After the launch of the latest iPhone 16 series, attention has shifted to Samsung’s next flagship launch, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. Leaks and rumours have surfaced online, suggesting that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will undergo significant design changes. According to these leaks, the smartphone will sport rounded edges, a departure from the sharp corners seen in previous S-Ultra smartphones.

A report indicates that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will measure 162.82x77.65x8.25mm, making it slightly taller than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which has dimensions of 162.3x79.0x8.6mm. The bezels are also expected to be slimmer, and the device is likely to sport five circular cutouts. Additionally, the device will likely sport a punch-hole display. 

Notably, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. In terms of camera specifications, the device is rumoured to feature a 200MP HP2 main camera, a 10MP 3x telephoto sensor, a 50MP ISOCELL JN3 ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 5x telephoto sensor. Additionally, it is likely to house a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging support. 

A comparison with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 

For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Running on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14, the device offers a smooth and responsive UI experience. Some standout features of the smartphone include AI tools such as Circle to Search, Call Assist, Photo Editing tools, and more. 

The Galaxy S24 Ultra features a quad-lens setup at the rear, consisting of a 200MP wide camera, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, a 10MP telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera along with a 120-degree field of view. For selfies, the device has a 12MP camera on the front. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which comfortably lasts a full day.
