After its global launch in New York on August 9, Samsung finally launched Galaxy Note 9 in India today at 12:30 pm. The Galaxy Note 9 comes with a massive 6.4 inch Super AMOLED Quad HD+ screen with a resolution of 1440x2960 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 ratio. With 6.4 inch, this smartphone carries the biggest screen ever in the Galaxy Note series.

The biggest selling point of the new device is the improved S Pen stylus, which comes with a host of features which will benefit not only a corporate user, but also a regular day-to-day user. With embedded Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module, it will also act as a remote control of the smartphone using the Bluetooth.

According to reports, DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics, attended the launch event in Delhi NCR on his maiden visit to India.

The South Korean technolgy firm has already revealed the prices of the smartphone. The base variant is priced at Rs 67,900 for its 128GB variant, while the 512GB top model will cost Rs 84,900, making it the most expensive Samsung smartphone so far.

512GB internal storage plus 512GB expandable storage provides the new Samsung device with upto 1TB storage space, more than most of the laptops today.

The device will be available with all leading e-tailers such as Amazon, Flipkart, Tata CLiQ, and PayTM Mall, besides Samsung's official website.

 
Samsung reportedly concluded the launch event by gifting the latest device to 9 of its most loyal customers.
