Samsung on Thursday expanded its Galaxy M series line-up with the launch of Samsung Galaxy M31s in India. The Galaxy M series has helped the South Korean smartphone maker to compete with its Chinese counterparts in the budget segment and re-grab its market share in the country. The Galaxy M31s succeeds this year’s Galaxy M31. It comes with the same 6000 mAh battery but packs a 25W-in box charger (usually found in more premium Samsung smartphones) and is also equipped with 64MP Intelli-Cam with Single Take Feature.

The Samsung Galaxy M31s has launched in two variants in the Indian market. The base model which comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage has been priced at Rs 19,499 while the 8GB RAM variant will cost you Rs 21,499. The smartphone will be available at Amazon.in, Samsung.com and select retail stores from 12 noon on August 6.

Samsung Galaxy M31s features  

The Samsung Galaxy M31s sports a 6.5-inch super AMOLED Infinity-O display and comes with the Widevine L1 certification that enables consumers to watch high definition content across streaming platforms. It packs a 6000mAh battery and comes with an in-box Type C 25W fast charger. 

The M31s for the first time also has reverse charging as it comes with a Type C to Type C cable for the 25W In-box charger. It comes with side finger-print scanner and fast face unlock. Galaxy M31s will run on Android 10 out of the box with Samsung’s new One UI. 

The Samsung Galaxy M31s comes with a 64MP quad-camera setup. The main lens is assisted by a 12MP Ultra-Wide, a 5MP Macro lens and a 5MP depth lens. On the front, you get a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
