The Samsung Galaxy M31 is set to launch in India on February 25. The launch was confirmed by Samsung through a microsite. The smartphone succeeds last year's Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M30s in the Indian market. The highlights of the Samsung Galaxy M31 include a massive 6000 mAh battery and 64 MP primary camera. While last year's Galaxy M30s also came with a similar battery, it featured a 48-megapixel main camera. The microsite also confirms that the phone will come with a quad rear camera setup in a rectangular-shaped module.
The microsite also confirms that the Samsung Galaxy M31 launch in India will take place at 12pm (noon) IST on February 25. Samsung will not be hosting a launch event for the same and you will get all the updates online. The Galaxy M31 is likely to come with a gradient back finish that was featured on the Galaxy M-series phones last year.

The smartphone will come with a full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display panel and a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary shooter. It will continue to feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The biggest highlight of the phone will be its 6000 mAh battery that was also used on the Galaxy M30s and was one of its biggest selling points.
The phone should be priced around Rs 15,000 in India which will position it against the Redmi Note 8 Pro and the Realme 5 Pro.
The smartphone is likely to run Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top. It can be powered by Exynos 9611 chipset which was used on last month's Galaxy A51. The company is also expected to launch the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M21 as part of its Galaxy M series in the coming days.
