South Korean electronics giant Samsung has slashed the price of its budget smartphone Samsung Galaxy M21, making it more pocket-friendly for the buyers. The price cut was announced as the smartphone maker started the sale of its smartphones and consumer electronics products through major e-commerce portals and Samsung.com on May 4 after the relaxation of lockdown by the government.

The Samsung Galaxy M21 will now be available at a Rs 12,699 for the base variant which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The top end mode that comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost you Rs 14,999. The mentioned price is applicable on purchases made through Amazon India. 

The consumers buying Galaxy M21 through offline retail stores and Samsung.com can buy the 4/64 GB variant at Rs 13,199 and 6/128 GB variant at Rs 15,499 respectively. Galaxy M21 was originally launched at Rs 13,499 for 4/64GB and Rs 15,499 for the 6/128GB memory variant across retail shops and Samsung.com in March.

The smartphone features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display and is powered by Exynos 9611 Octa-core processor. The chipset comes with AI powered Game Booster that improves frame rate and stability as well as reduces power consumption. The smartphone sports a fingerprint scanner on its rear panel.

It packs a 6000mAh battery with type C fast charging and 15W in-box charger.

The smartphone boasts of a triple rear camera comprising of a 48MP main camera, a 8MP Ultra Wide camera with 123 degree field of view and a 5MP depth camera. On the front, you get a 20 MP selfie shooter.
