The Samsung Galaxy A80, which boasts of world's first triple rotating camera module, has gone on sale in India on Thursday. The smartphone was launched in India last month and was available for pre-orders. Starting today, the smartphone is available on the company site, offline stores, and leading online stores. This is a premium offering from the company and competes against flagship smartphones like the OnePlus 7, the Redmi K20 Pro and others in the country. The biggest highlight of the phone is its innovative rotating camera setup.

The Samsung Galaxy A80 price in India has been set at Rs 47,990. The smartphone comes in a lone variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is available in three colour options: Angel Gold, Ghost White, and Phantom Black. From Thursday, the phone could be purchased through Amazon India, Flipkart, and the Samsung India website. 
 
As part of the launch offers, Samsung is giving five percent cashback to customers who purchase the smartphone using Citibank credit cards. You can also avail Rs 3,000 additional exchange discount on the smartphone if the purchase is made using the Samsung India site. Meanwhile, Flipkart is offering 5 percent cashback on the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, and Amazon is offering 5 percent cashback on HDFC Bank debit cards.

The smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Super AMOLED 'New Infinity Display' with a 20:9 aspect ratio and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 730G SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. The phone sports an in-display fingerprint scanner and packs a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy A80 has a rotating camera setup with 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle 123-degree f/2.2 lens. The camera filps up and rotates if you select the selfie mode. It also uses the preloaded Super Steady mode that is claimed to reduce video shake

On the storage front, the Samsung Galaxy A80 has 128GB of onboard storage. Unfortunately, this cannot be expanded via microSD card.
