Even though Samsung tried to keep the price of Galaxy A50 secret at the time of global announcement, it has been revealed by company's regional arms, days before its official launch. According to a press release by Samsung Netherlands, the smartphone would cost EUR 349. This would come down to around Rs 28,100 in India. The release also confirmed that the phone will be available in market by mid March - a development which was further confirmed by the South Korean arm of Samsung. Galaxy A50 will be rolled out along with Galaxy 30 but price of the latter is unknown.

The improved Galaxy A series was recently announced by Samsung. As of now, the company has only announced two new smartphones in this series: Samsung Galaxy A50 and Samsung Galaxy A30 but is also expected to introduce Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A20 soon. The company has already sent out media invites for the launch of Galaxy A50 which is scheduled to be launched in Mumbai on February 28. 

The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U screen with full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It comes in two variants: 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and 6GB RAM, 128GB storage. The storage, however, can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. 

It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and a rear capacitive fingerprint sensor. There is dual dual-camera setup on the rear with a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/1.7 lens and a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens. On the front, Samsung Galaxy A50 has a 16-megapixel sensor with a fixed-focus f/2.2 lens.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy A30 also comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity U screen with full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor. The phone comes in two similar variants and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and a rear capacitive fingerprint sensor. 

Both the devices run on Android.
