Samsung Galaxy A2 Cores price and specifications have reportedly been leaked online confirming that the launch is imminent.
Samsung Galaxy A2 Core: In the race to grab a larger pie of the Indian smartphone market, top phone-makers have been launching cheaper as well as high-end smartphones. This allows the smartphone manufacturers to tap both low-budget customers as well as the flagship device users. Xiaomi, with its Redmi 5A, Redmi 6A and now with Redmi Go, has been increasing the competition in the budget segment. Samsung had launched Galaxy J2 Core to counter Redmi 5A and Redmi 6A, and now to counter all the Xiaomi's budget offerings, the South Korean conglomerate is expected to launch Galaxy A2 Core in the coming days.
Now, Samsung Galaxy A2 Core's price and specifications have reportedly been leaked online confirming that the launch is imminent. As per a 91Mobiles report, the budget smartphone will be priced at Rs 5,290 in India. The smartphone will come with 141.5 x 70.9 x 9.1mm dimensions, 5-inch display with 960x540 pixels, qHD resolution and a plastic body with a glossy finish.

The smartphone runs Android Go out of the box based on Android 9 Pie. The report claims it to be a part of Make In India initiative. The report also claimed that Samsung Galaxy A2 Core will be powered by an Exynos 7870 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.6GHz and will have 1GB RAM. The device will have 16GB internal storage with expandable microSD card slot. As far as the camera is concerned, the Galaxy A2 Core will have a 5 MP rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The camera will have beauty mode as well to enhance the quality of the photos. The battery of the smartphone is said to be of 2,600mAh.

The smartphone will come in three colour variants - Red, Dark grey and Blue.
