Samsung Galaxy A16 5G: Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy A16 5G in India. According to the company, the Galaxy A16 5G sets will offer 6 generations of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates. The smartphone will be available at a starting price of Rs 18,999.

Samsung Galaxy A16 5G will be available in two variants – 8 GB/128 GB and 8 GB/256 GB in trendy colours such as Gold, Light Green and Blue Black. It will be available across retail stores, Samsung.com, and online platforms including Amazon.in and Flipkart.com, starting today.

Awesome Design and Performance

Samsung Galaxy A16 5G measures just 7.9mm in width and the company claims that it is the slimmest mid-range Galaxy A series smartphone so far. 

"The iconic ‘Key Island’ aesthetic, paired with a refined glasstic back and thin bezels, make it visually striking. Beyond its stunning design, the Galaxy A16 5G is equipped with a robust 5000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting power for users on the go," the company said in a release. 

The smartphone is powered by the upgraded MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor.

The device boasts a triple camera system, featuring a 50 MP wide, 5 MP ultra-wide, and 2 MP macro lens. It has a Super AMOLED display, with a large 6.7-inch Full HD+ screen.

The device also boasts an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.  

The Galaxy A16 5G introduces Samsung Wallet, which features a distinctive ‘Tap & Pay’ capability powered by NFC (Near Field Communication)  an offering that sets it apart from other devices in this price segment.
