Here's how to buy Reliance JioBook 4G laptop: Check price, features and more

Reliance has launched the JioBook 4G laptop. Billed as the country’s “First Learning Book”, the laptop will be sold for Rs 16,499 on Amazon and Reliance Digital’s online and offline stores from August 5. Pre-bookings for the device have already started. This is the second JioBook 11 laptop by Reliance. The first model was introduced in October last year.

"We are dedicated to introduce innovative products that empower individuals in their learning journey. The all-new JioBook is our latest offering catering to learners of all ages with its advanced features and seamless connectivity options," a Reliance Retail spokesperson told news agency PTI.

Features of JioBook 4G laptop

The JioBook 4G features a 4G LTE and Dual band Wi-Fi. It gets a Mediatek MT 8788 Octa Core processor with the Android-based JioOS operating system. The laptop includes an inbuilt 4G SIM card. The JioBook 11 has 64GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The 4GB LPDDR4 RAM ensures a smooth user interface and performance. The Infinity keyboard and large touchpad results in an efficient workflow.

The laptop’s 11.6 inch screen gets an anti-glare HD display. This ensures you can work easily outdoors. The JioBook 4G offers eight hours of battery life with its 5,000mAh battery. The device gets advanced file management (NTFS, FAT32 and exFAT), multiple customisation options, over 75 keyboard shortcuts and an in-built JioPages internet browser. Buyers can get services of apps like Jio TV and also learn coding languages like Pearl, Java, and Pearl with JioBIAN.

Buyers will get 100GB cloud storage with Digiboxx at no extra cost. A one year subscription of Quick Heal Antivirus protection with parental control is also on offer.

In terms of connectivity options, the JioBook offers Bluetooth 5, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an HDMI mini port. The model weighs just 990 grams, which is significantly lighter than the previous version. The laptop comes in blue. It supports standard trackpad gestures.
