Redmi 8 to be launched on Oct 9 - All you need to know

Xiaomi is set to launch Redmi 8 in India on Oct 9 i.e. Wednesday. Xiaomi is a big player when it comes to the budget smartphone segment. Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain has released a teaser in which he has confirmed the launch of the smartphone in India. 

During the Redmi 8A launch live stream, a glimpse of the Redmi 8 handset was seen. In a tweet, Jain said, " Mi fans! Just when you thought the #Diwali action has reached a peak, here's #BatteryCameraAction! Battery champion with arriving on 9th Oct. Redmi 8A expected features:

As per gsmarena report, Redmi 8 will be available in 16GB 2GB RAM, 32GB 3GB RAM, 64GB 4GB RAM internal storage. Having 6.21 inches display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It will have a Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, compass sensor. Redmi 8 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm SDM439 Snapdragon 439. It has a 12MP, 2 MP, depth sensor and 8MP selfie camera.

The smartphone will have a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery. The report says that the phone will be available in 3 colors namely Black, Blue and Red.
