Realme X50 Pro 5G launching today: All you need to know about Indias first 5G smartphone
The flagship-level smartphone arrives just one day before iQoo 3 which was initially supposed to be the first 5G smartphone in India. Realme was set to unveil its device in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress 2020 but was forced to change its plans after the tech show was cancelled due to coronavirus outbreak.
Starting a new chapter in India’s smartphone industry, Realme is set to launch country’s first 5G smartphone today, at an event in New Delhi. The flagship-level smartphone arrives just one day before iQoo 3 which was initially supposed to be the first 5G smartphone in India. Realme was set to unveil its device in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress 2020 but was forced to change its plans after the tech show was cancelled due to coronavirus outbreak. Interestingly, the telecom operators are not offering 5G connectivity in the country as of now which would pose a major challenge for both Realme as well iQoo to attract customers.

Realme X50 Pro 5G Price in India
The Reno X50 Pro 5G Price in India will be announced during the launch event. However, some reports suggest that the price could be around Rs 50,000. If true, this will make the Realme X50 Pro 5G company’s most expensie smartphone in India till date. The top-end variant of the iQoo 3 is reported to be priced at Rs 45,000 in India.
Realme X50 Pro 5G Features and Specifications
The Realme X50 Pro 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 – the first device to use the chipset in India. Ii is confirmed to sport a 90Hz display which was also used on the Realme X2 Pro. The screen will have a dual punch hole camera on the front.
For optics, the Realme X50 Pro 5G will have four cameras at the back including a 64-megapixel main sensor among three other sensors. The Realme X50 Pro 5G will have a 32-megapixel camera on the front, accompanied by the second sensor the graphic resolution.
