Realme X India launch: Realme is set to launch its much-awaited smartphone – the Realme X in India today – alongside the ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Special Edition of the smartphone and Realme 3i – a Lite version of the Realme 3. All the new smartphones will be launched in India at an event in New Delhi around 12 pm (noon) IST. The Realme X was launched in China in May and was followed by the custom edition variant which was launched last month. Since the smartphone has already been launched in China, most of its features are already known but it would be interesting to see if the company makes any changes to the Indian variant.

The Realme X China variant comes with Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6.53-inch full-HD+ display, and 3,765mAh battery. It has been reported in the past that the Indian variant might come with a few different specifications and features. 

Realme X lndia launch LIVE Streaming 

The Realme X India launch LIVE Streaming will be available on Realme’s official website and YouTube channel. You can also get all the live updates of the launch event through Realme’s Twitter and Facebook pages. 

Realme X price in India (Expected) 

The Realme X price in India will be announced at the launch event along with the availability and launch offers. But, the smartphone is expected to cost less than Rs 18,000 even for the top variant. In China, the Realme X price starts at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs 15,400) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant while the 6GB + 64GB variant carries a price tag of CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 16,400) and the top variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage costs CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 18,500). 

The Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home special edition is expected to be available in a single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option at a price tag of CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 18,100). The Indian models are expected to be priced around the same mark. 

Realme X features and specifications 

The Chinese variant of the smartphone sports a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android Pie and features a and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. 

The Realme X in China has a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera that has an f/2.0 lens and comes in a pop-up module. The Realme X packs a 3,765mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology. 

Most of these features have already been confirmed to arrive in India through the teaser page of the product that went live on Flipkart.
