Realme X first sale: Launched in India on July 15, the Realme X is set to go on sale in the country for the first time on Wednesday. The first premium smartphone by the company, Realme X has been priced at Rs 16,999 for the base variant and will be available through Flipkart and Realme's own website, starting 12 noon IST. The smartphone brings a number of flagship features like a 48MP rear camera, pop-up selfie camera and a super AMOLED screen to the mid-range segment. With this smartphone, the Chinese manufacturer aims to take on its arch rival Xiaomi's Redmi K20.

The smartphone has arrived to the country about two months after making its debut in China. Realme X price in India starts at Rs 16,999 for the base variant that comes with 4GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The top end variant that comes with 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage will cost you Rs 19,999. The company has also launched a special 'Spider Man: Far From Home' edition of the phone that is only available in the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant and is priced at Rs 20,999.

The smartphone is available in two colour options: Polar white and Space blue. Realme has launched two Master editions of the smartphone that come with same specs and are priced at Rs 19,999 for the lone 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. They will be available in two design variants: onion and garlic and one storage variant of 8 GB + 128 GB, and it is priced at Rs 19,999.

As part of launch offers, you can get 10 per cent instant discount if the purchase is made on Flipkart via SBI credit card.

Realme X: Specifications and features

The smartphone features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Samsung-made AMOLED display with a 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. The phone sports a dual rear camera setup with 48 MP Sony IMX586 as primary sensor and 5 MP secondary sensor along with an LED flash. On the front, it offers a pop-up selfie camera that houses a 16 MP f/2.0 sensor. It is powered by a 3,765 mAh battery unit with VOOC 3.0 support.
