Chinese smartphone maker Realme is getting ready to announce the Realme U1, a successor of the P60, in India on November 28. This would be the first smartphone to use MediaTek’s latest Helio P70 system-on-chip, which is an octa-core processor based on TSMC 12-nanometre FinFET process, said a Business Standard report.

Notably, the launch of the new device was announced at the India Mobile Congress 2018.

The smartphone is expected to be priced under Rs 20,000 and would be an Amazon exclusive. The selfie-centric phone would sport a waterdrop notch.

According to the product landing page on Amazon, the device also gets a processor-based enhancements on the camera front like high-resolution depth engine, faster multi-frame noise reduction shots, anti-blooming engine and accurate artificial intelligence detection, the report said.

Realme has launched four smartphones in a span of four months. The company entered the Indian handset market with the launch of Realme 1, powered by MediaTek Helio P60 processor.
