However, things have not been absolutely quiet regarding PUBG Mobile India rumour factory. Content creator in the PUBG Mobile Community, Maxtern, has asked one of the directors of the game to “leak the date” of PUBG Mobile India.

Maxtern posted a tweet saying “leak the date” of PUBG Mobiel India launch and he tagged Sean Hyunil Sohn along with it. It is reported that PUBG India is registered in India on Kumar Krishnan Iyer and Sean Hyunil Sohn names.

As far as official stance is concerned, a few days ago, it was reported that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has denied permission to PUBG Corporation for the launch of the PUBG Mobile India. According to reports, the Centre is still unconvinced about the launch of the popular mobile game despite several changes from the PUBG corporations.

An official was quoted as telling Indiesport, “There is no change in that stance at this stage. Any banned entity can’t operate just by floating [a] new company. They will have to get permissions from MEITY to operate once again in India”.

But there are some reports PUBG Mobile India launch date. It is being said that PUBG Mobile India game will be launched on both Android and iOS platforms by February 2021.

The fact of the matter is that there is a huge rival coming up against PUBG Mobile India. That is FAU-G. The longer PUBG Mobile India takes to launch, the better things get for FAU-G. PUBG Mobile India will also face tough rivalry from Call of Duty: Mobile, Fortnite, Free Fire and other mobile games that fall in the same category.

How did things reach this stage? Well, much to the consternation of its fans, India had banned PUBG, among scores of other  Chinese apps, in September. Authorities had cited national security concerns.
