Smartphone maker Blackberry has launched its latest handset, BlackBerry Key2 LE with a full-QWERTY keyboard at Rs 29,990 in India today. Blackberry is licensed to India-based Optiemus Infracom. The smartphone which is an Amazon exclusive, will be available in the country from October 12.

The smartphone which is an Amazon exclusive, will be available in the country from October 12. The blue colour variant of the phone would be available from the first week of November.
BlackBerry Key2 LE has a similar design to that of full-fledged Key2, which was launched earlier this year in India. Key2 LE is a trimmed down version of Key2 with full QWERTY keyboard. Key2 LE comes with lesser RAM than that of Key2.
The smartphone also comes with lesser battery capacity compared to Key 2 and has a different dual camera module on the back. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 system-on-chip and is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which is expandable up to 256GB using microSD card.
Loaded with BlackBerry security suite, the smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The BlackBerry security suite includes DTEK app by BlackBerry, BlackBerry Password Keeper, Privacy Shade and BlackBerry Hub.
Blackberry Key2 LE features a 4.5-inch fullHD screen with 3:2 aspect ratio and backed by 3,000 mAh battery. The phone sports a 13-megapixel primary sensor with a 5MP depth-sensing lens on the back and an 8MP selfie camera on the front side. The primary camera of the phone supports Google Lens and features like panoramic selfie mode, selfie enhancements and real-time Bokeh mode are supported by the front camera.
