Poco M6 Plus 5G launch date in India confirmed - Check expected specs and other details

Poco is geared to launch its new smartphone the M6 Plus in India on 1st August after the release of the M6 and M6 Pro. As per the company officials, the new smartphone will be up for grabs on Flipkart from 1st August. Just like its predecessors, the Poco M6 Plus is expected to feature a wide range of specifications at a mid-range reasonable cost.

As per the report, the Poco M6 Plus 5G is predicted to have dual SIM functionality equipped with Nano SIM slots and a hybrid slot for extra memory. It might have 168.6 x 76.3 x 8.2 mm dimensions, making it sleeker, slimmer, and user-friendly. The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.79-inch LCD display proficient in showcasing 16 million colours. if sources are to be believed The phone is estimated to provide a 240 Hz touch sampling rate and a 120 Hz refresh rate, guaranteeing fluid performance along with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9 offering rich and vibrant visuals. Reports suggest that the display is estimated to contain a peak brightness of 850 nits and a punch-hole notch, providing a remarkable screen-to-body ratio of around 85.1 percent. 

The Poco M6 Plus 5G might be supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen2 Advanced Edition processor, which also consists of a 2.2 GHz octa-core chipset. When it comes to storage, the smartphone is predicted to be equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which can be extended up to 1 TB through the hybrid slot. It might have a dual-band Wi-Fi- 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, IR blaster, and Bluetooth v5.0, USB-C with USB. The device is estimated to assist an extensive range of networks such as EDGE, GPRS, 3G, 4G, and 5G, with VoLTE for greater voice call quality.

The Poco M6 Plus 5G is projected to be striking in terms of the camera system, featuring a 108 MP wide-angle lens with PDAF and an f/1.8 aperture, escorted by a 2-megapixel macro lens with autofocus, and a 13-megapixel wide-angle front camera. The camera layout is supposed to feature numerous modes like Portrait, Photo, Video, Night, Timelapse with FHD video recording abilities, and 50MP Mode. The device is expected to feature a robust 5030 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with assistance for 33W fast charging. The new smartphone might as well have additional features such as GPS with assistance for GLONASS, AGPS, and BeiDou, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and different sensors such as an electronic compass and accelerometer.
