Till date you might have used your Paytm app for payments and money transfers, but now the payments app has the whole gamut of features that you can use. The features are not only related to payments and money transfers, you have now entertainment and chatting options too. Paytm Inbox allows users to chat and send/request money.
These features were included after, WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, announced payments service on its app. The digital payments company is going all out to take on WhatsApp by introducing Live TV service. Paytm is for quite some time testing games feature on the Inbox platform, according to Telecom Talk report.
Now, the Paytm Live TV service may reportedly include channels like Aaj Tak, India Today, 9XM, ET Now, among others. The payments app, however, has not yet revealed the list of channels it will offer. The app users will now be able to browse news updates, entertainment, and many more things, it said. The new features likely to increase app usage duration. These services reportedly come for free.

These features would be available for iOS users this weekend and Android users will get the facility by next week, the report said. Paytim app users will be able to choose games from different genres. The app users will reportedly also be able to watch videos on the go.
The digital payments company had recently crossed annual gross transaction run-rate of USD 29 billion. It said Paytm was seeing strong growth in both mobile payments usage as well as transactions through bank transfers.
