Panasonic LUMIX S5II Mirrorless Camera Price in India: Panasonic on Monday launched a new hybrid full-frame mirrorless camera LUMIX S5II in the Indian market. The latest addition to its LUMIX S Series is packed with a new phase hybrid auto-focus and powerful image stabilisation system. According to the company, it will introduce LUMIX S5IIX - a variant with a more extensive video feature set - in the coming months.

According to the company, the LUMIX S5II body will be available at Rs 1,94,990. Those who Lumix 20-60mm F3.5-5.6 Lens along with the body will have to pay Rs 2,24,990. Similarly, the LUMIX S5II combo kit - with a set of two lenses Lumix 20-60mm F3.5-5.6 Lens and Lumix S 50mm F1.8 Lens - will cost Rs 2,44,990.

The fully mirrorless camera will be available across Lumix Lounges, Panasonic LUMIX 4K Zones, and dealer networks across the country.

Manish Sharma, Chairman, of Panasonic Life Solutions India and South Asia, said that LUMIX S5II offers ease of use to content creators and buttons have been placed in a way that makes manoeuvring through it very easy.

"The demand for full-frame mirrorless camera segment in India has gone up. India is one of our key markets and we see immense potential in the full-frame mirrorless camera segment, especially in fields of wedding, filmmaking, fashion, music and long-format content," Sharma added.

The Panasonic LUMIX S5II mirrorless camera contains a newly developed 24-megapixel 35mm full-frame CMOS (complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) sensor that complies with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus). This will allow LUMIX S5II to achieve high resolution, natural description and approximately 2X higher speed signal processing for high bit-rate video recording. 

The Panasonic LUMIX S5II camera also gives an option of REAL TIME LUT (look-up table). This will let people shoot creative expressions unique to creators without the hassle of editing.

What is REAL TIME LUT?

The REAL TIME LUT feature enables colour grading on photos and videos within the camera by applying the LUT saved in the SD memory card. 

This enables creators to perform intended colour grading on the spot and share images online even during live streaming.
