Oppo’s new smartphone Oppo Realme 1 is on sale in India today on Amazon from 12 pm. With a different design, compared to other smartphones on the same range, the new Oppo phone is a challenger to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, which was launched recently. 
 
Oppo Realme 1, whose target audience is mostly online buyers, was rolled out earlier this month, has now begun its first sale in India from today. The smartphone with its unique design is expected to attract a large number of young online buyers.
 
According to media reports, the new Oppo device will offer 5% cashback in its first sale for those who are using SBI debit and credit cards. The customers who are buying this smartphone from Reliance Jio and Prime deliveries will reportedly get cash back up to Rs 5,000.
 
The base mode of Oppo Realme 1 with 3GB RAM+32GB storage variant is priced at Rs 8,990, while 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is available at Rs 13,990. The device comes in Diamond Black and Solar Red colour. 
 
Coming to the design, the smartphone sports a 6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered with MediaTek Helio P60 chipset based on 12nm process coupled with the Mali-G72 MP3 graphics processor. It also sports a battery of 3,410mAh, which should easily last a day, as per NewsX report.

Realme 1 features 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus, 1080p video recording and LED flash, said the report, adding that it also has an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, at the front and support for Oppo’s AI algorithm.
 
Oppo Realme 1 runs under Android 8.1 Oreo. In order to enhance the selfies, the device relies on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and also has Augmented Reality stickers, which can be added to photos and videos like other Oppo phones.
