OPPO launches A71(3GB) with AI technology at Rs 9,990

Chinese handset maker OPPO on Monday launched its A71(3GB) smartphone in India that comes with an upgraded Artificial Intelligence (AI) beauty technology for Rs 9,990.

A71(3GB) is equipped with OPPO-specific "AI Beauty" function, which captures more than 200 facial features and makes face recognition more accurate.

"With the launch of OPPO A71(3GB), equipped with AI Beauty Technology and stronger performance we are confident to take our efforts a step-ahead in our selfie journey," said Will Yang, Brand Director, OPPO India.

A71(3GB), which is the latest addition to OPPO`s A Series portfolio, features a 5MP front camera.

The 13MP rear camera has a technology that helps reduce noise so that pictures look clearer and more real under darker conditions.

The device with 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM memory sports a 5.2-inch HD screen and Color OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1.

The smartphone also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor that contains eight 64-bit processing cores, clocked at 1.8 GHz, and a 3000mAh battery that helps in fast charging.

The A71(3GB) that runs Android 7.1 is available on online partners Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal.
