After nearly a four-year hiatus, Chinese tech manufacturer Oppo is set to bring its flagship smartphone back to the Indian market. With the base model recently getting a certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the launch of Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro is expected soon. It is likely that the devices will be launched in India and globally, following an initial release in China.
 
Though the launch date and price details are yet to emerge, some insights regarding Find X8 have surfaced on Weibo. Leaks suggest that the device will feature a flat-screen with minimal bezels, a slimmer profile, and a metal frame. It is also likely to support 50W wireless magnetic charging.

The Find X8 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor. The camera module may also see some changes, as it is likely to feature a Hasselblad logo, indicating a continued partnership between both these brands. Overall, the camera capability of the device is anticipated to receive a boost, with improved software and colour accuracy. 

The Find X8 Series is likely to sport a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the standard model is expected to pack a 5,600mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, while the pro model may get a 5,800mAh battery with 50W wireless charging functionality. Both models are expected to feature an IP69 certification, enhancing their dust and water resistance capabilities. 

In other developments related to Oppo: Oppo India earned the top rank for customer satisfaction in after-sales as 62 per cent of its customers rated their in-store after-sales service as ‘very satisfactory’. In a survey conducted by Counterpoint Research in August 2024, which included India’s top five smartphone brands and aimed at measuring their after-sale service experiences, Oppo India secured the No. 1 position. The survey comprised over 2,000 customers.
