OnePlus is set to launch its next flagship, indicates a tweet of Pete Lau, Founder and CEO of OnePlus. He tweeted that the launch event announcement will be revealed next Tuesday. This means he will announce the official launch date for its next flagship lineup next week.  Lau had tweeted "Excited to share the next product from OnePlus will unleash a new era of Fast and Smooth. Especially Smooth! Smooth is more challenging than Fast - a true test of hardware and software. The new product is just beautiful - I can't wait for you to see it!"

It is not clear what exactly the tweet means but there is an excitement among the customers for the new device. As per a BGR report, the next device will be 5G compatible and thus smoother in terms of user experience.   

The report also says that OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G as its next product lineup. It is also known that OnePlus 7 Series will be launched simultaneously in the country and other parts of the world.

The company also claims that recently OnePlus entered the top 5 premium smartphone brands for the first time. 

Expected features

So far it is said that the OnePlus 7 is likely to feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display where the OnePlus 7 Pro is said to offer a Quad HD+ AMOLED display with the faster 90Hz refresh rate. The Pro is said to feature a triple rear camera setup with a wide angle and telephoto camera. 

There is a possibility that the OnePlus 7 will feature a triple rear camera while the OnePlus 7 Pro could sport a pop-up selfie camera. 

OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to come with Warp charge out of the box and both the models are expected to powered by 4,000mAh battery, run OxygenOS 9 based on Android Pie which supports USB 3.1 connectivity.
