OnePlus 13 Launch: The much-awaited OnePlus 13 is slated to be rolled out later this month in China. As smartphone enthusiasts brace for the launch, some interesting leaks regarding the device’s specifications are doing rounds on social media. Drawing inspiration from Apple’s MagSafe Wireless charging functionality, the latest speculated feature suggests that OnePlus might integrate Qi2 wireless charging standard in its next flagship.

OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis posted an image on Weibo, hinting that the OnePlus 13 will be compatible with magnetic accessories. To use the functionality, users will need grain cases. 

OnePlus 13: Expected specifications

The OnePlus 13 is likely to feature a 6.82-inch 2K display with upgraded technology for better multimedia experience. The device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, along with up to 24GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. 

In terms of camera capabilities, the device is expected to sport a triple camera setup, including 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The smartphone is also likely to be packed with a 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. 

OnePlus 13: Launch date

While the OnePlus 13 is rumoured to be released later this month in China, the Global launch is not expected soon. 

The magnetic wireless charging has already been integrated by several brands, including the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Infinix, which offers the ‘MagCharge’ feature with its Note 40 Pro series. Additionally, Nokia’s parent company also introduced the HMD Skyline with Qi2 wireless charging functionality, which can be accessed without the need for special cases or built-in magnets like iPhones. 

In other developments related to OnePlus 13, recently, leaked images on social media suggest the device is expected to sport a redesigned camera layout. Additionally, it is also likely to be equipped with an upgraded periscope camera, further enhancing its camera capabilities.
