Nothing new phone (2a) plus: London-based tech brand Nothing has announced that the forthcoming Phone (2a) Plus will feature the exclusive MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G processor, making it the world’s first smartphone to use this chipset. Developed in collaboration with MediaTek, this chipset is designed to improve user experience with advanced technology.
It utilizes TSMC 4 nm Gen 2 technology with 8 cores running up to 3.0 GHz, offering nearly 10 per cent faster CPU performance than the Phone (2a) and is tailored for gaming.
The Phone (2a) Plus features an ARM Mali-G610 MC4 GPU clocked at 1.3 GHz, delivering 30 per cent faster gaming performance. The device comes with 12 GB of RAM and an additional 8 GB through RAM Booster technology. It also supports 4K video recording, HDR images, HDR10+ playback, Dual 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6.
The custom chipset ensures a smooth user experience with up to 10% better power efficiency compared to the base model. The Phone (2a) Plus is set to launch on July 31, 2024, with an online event available for streaming at nothing.tech. Building on the success of the Phone (2a), the Phone (2a) Plus offers upgraded features and an enhanced user experience, marking a notable advancement in Nothing’s commitment to innovation and user-focused technology.
