Nothing Phone (2) launched in India: Nothing, a London-based smartphone manufacturer, has launched its much-anticipated smartphone Nothing Phone (2) in India and globally. The launch coincided with Nothing Drops, which was held for the first time ever in India. Nothing Drops allows customers to experience the smartphone along with Ear (2) black and accompanying accessories. The frenzy began with successful drops with hundreds of people queueing up at their SOHO store in London and New York, followed by an exhilarating drop in Bengaluru, India.

The Phone (2) has managed to generate quite a buzz, starting from sold-out pre-order passes on Flipkart to a turnout of over 500 customers who patiently queued for hours, waiting to experience and own its latest offering.  

According to the company, Nothing Phone (2) has been engineered to make smartphone usage more mindful. Phone (2) introduces the new glyph interface at the back which let users access key information at a glance and therefore minimises screen interactions.

It also features a revamped Nothing OS 2.0 that the company claims has been designed to reduce distractions while delivering a fast and smooth experience that embodies Nothing's unique aesthetics. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset that helps Phone (2) deliver Nothing's most premium smartphone experience to date. The smartphone comes with dual camera at the back, with 50MP sensors each and advanced algorithms for true-to-life photography. It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with LTPO.

Nothing Phone (2) will go on open sale in India on Friday i.e. July 12 from 12 PM onwards.
