Nokia 6 to go on sale on Amazon on August 23; here’s how you can get it

HMD Global’s Nokia 6 will be put up on an ‘exclusive’ sale by Amazon India on August 23 from 12 noon.

The smartphone which was launched in India on July 13 and registrations for the phone on Amazon began from July 14 which crossed over 10 lakh, the e-commerce company said.

Amazon said only registered customers will be eligible to purchase the phone from the sale.

To register customers will have to provide their email or mobile numbers attached to their Amazon accounts along with their passwords. New customers will be required to create an Amazon account.

Nokia 6 was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year.

On purchase of the Nokia 6, Amazon in association with Vodafone is offering 45GB data free for five months to its prepaid and postpaid customers.

2. Insert Vodafone SIM in the new Amazon exclusive handset. You will get an activation message “You are eligible for Vodafone Amazon Buy 1GB or above pack and Get 9 GB for 5 Recharges with maximum validity of 5 months.”

3. In case of Prepaid connection, recharge with 1GB or above pack (see below for applicable recharges),9 GB Free Data get attached automatically.

4. In case of Postpaid connection, subscriber has to have 1GB or above rental plans already,and 9 GB Free data get attached within 48 hrs.

Other offers

Along with this other offers on purchase of the Nokia 6 include – Rs 1000 cashback for Amazon Prime members using Amazon Pay balance. "All Nokia 6 customers who sign in to the Kindle app will get 80% off on Kindle eBooks up to Rs 300," the company said.

Buying the Nokia 6 will also give Rs 2500 off on customer’s next Make My Trip planned outing. The company is offering Rs 1800 on hotels and Rs 700 on flights.

Nokia 6 Specs

The Nokia 6 has a 5.5 inch full HD screen and has a ‘smart audio amplifier’ with dual speakers and the company boasts of its ‘superior craftsmanship.’

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 mobile platform and the Qualcomm Adreno 505 graphics processor.

The new Nokia 6 comes pre-installed with the Amazon shopping app, Kindle app and a unique Daily Deals widget which gives users easy access to personalized deals, order history, shipment updates and more.
