MTNL offers free unlimited to customers - Here is how to get it

State-owned telecom operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) is providing free unlimited data to its prepaid connections. The operator has introduced a 'Christmas offer' as part of which it is providing unlimited Internet access free of charge. But, the free data will only be given to new mobile customers that have subscribed to the services between December 25, 2018 and January 31, 2019. "#MTNL 's  #ChristmasOffer for New #Mobile  customers. Free Unlimited Data for 60 days for all new Prepaid  Connections booked between  25th Dec 18 to 31st Jan 19," the company said in a tweet. 

The offer is available for all the customers in Delhi and Mumbai circles but does not come with voice or SMS benefits. Since the telecom operator is yet to roll out its 5G services, the customers can get interent speed only up to 2G or 3G as part of MTNL's Christmas offer. 

The offer period is between December 25 to January 31 and the benefits will be valid for 60 days from the date of mobile number activation for new subscribers. The interested customers can buy a new connection from an authorised retailer or a Sanchar Haat in their area (only in Delhi and Mumbai).

The customers will have to subscribe to regular plan after the completion of 60 days and will be paid as per the respective plan.

Apart from this, MTNL is also offering a Christmas offer on its broadband connections. As part of this offer, the customers get an additional 11GB free data in Mumbai above the FUP subscriptions. The offfer is valid between December 25 and December 31, 2018.
