Motorola has launched its new budget smartphone - Motorola One Macro - claiming to offer a powerful macro lens that allows you to capture small objects from close distance. Just like the recently launched Moto E6s, this one is also an entry-level smartphone that offers several budget features at an aggressive price tag. India is the first country to get Motorola one Macro and it will soon be launched in other markets. Motorola is hosting the global launch of the device on October 24 after which it will be available in Europe, Latin America and the US.

Motorola One Macro has been launched in India in a single variant that comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It is priced at Rs 9,999 and comes in one colour variant — Space Blue. The smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart starting 12 October. Under the Jio offer, you can get a cashback of Rs 2,200 and 125 GB Additional data.

Motorola One Macro features and specs

The Motorola One Macro features a 6.2-inch LCD with 720 x 1,520px resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset and gives you a choice between two nano-SIMs or nano-SIM + microSD. The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery which supports 10W fast charging through Type-C USB charging port. The phone will be available in India as a Flipkart exclusive.

For optics, the phone comes with a macro camera that can focus from as close as 2cm (under 1”) and uses a 2MP sensor with 1.75µm pixels. It has a primary camera of 13MP and there is also a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. It houses a 8MP selfie camera on the front inside a waterdrop notch.
