Motorola may launch Moto G6 Play tomorrow; Know price, features, specification and more
On Motorola’s website, the company has introduced a ‘Notify Me’ page for Moto G6 series and Moto G6 Play.
With the latest news circulated, it being known that Motorola will be launching it’s Moto G6 Play alongside Moto G series tomorrow in India. Moto G6 series are expected to be different the Moto G5 series, as they may be packed with 3D design which is featured currently in Moto X4. A BGR report stated that, Moto G6 Play will be officially launched in India on May 21. Reportedly, people familiar with Motorola India’s plan, the smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart and Amazon India.
Last month, Motorola launched the Moto G6 series which features Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus in Brazil. This was launched after nearly eight months of Moto G5S series in August last year.
As per BGR report, Moto G6 Play features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. Motorola calls the display as Max Vision since it now supports the taller aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset coupled with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB storage.
As for camera, the G6 Play will have 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash alongside 8-megapixel selfie shooter at the front that supports 1080p video recording along with dedicated LED flash, the report mentioned.
It will run on Android 8.0 Oreo with Moto Experiences and also has good battery life up to 4,000mAh battery.
According to Mysmartprice report, the phone is expected to be launched at Rs 13,000 in India.
