It has been only a week, since Samsung Electronics recalled it's Samsung Galaxy Note 7 over battery failure, and the Ministry of Civil Aviation has now prohibited the usage or carriage of the phone on board an aircraft.

The ministry has issued a  public notice, advising the airlines and people travelling via this route not to switch on or charge the said mobile during flights. 

This move is followed by several incidents happening globally, involving the battery of Samsung Galaxy Note 7. 

Further, the passengers are also been advised not to store them in their checked in baggage.

On September 2, after conducting a thorough investigation, Samsung found a battery cell issue in Note 7.

Following the matter Samsung said,"We are currently conducting a thorough inspection with our suppliers to identify possible affected batteries in the market. However, because our customers’ safety is an absolute priority at Samsung, we have stopped sales of the Galaxy Note7."

As of September 1, there have been 35 cases with the same issue reported globally. 

Recently, Samsung Austrailia has recalled nearly 50000 Galaxy Note 7 smartphone.
