In the booming mobile market in India, which is the case especially during festive season, domestic consumer electronics company Micromax has launched two new Android Go smartphones, Bharat 5 Infinity Edition and Bharat 4 Diwali Edition.
 
The new Micromax Android devices will be sold offline and Bharat 5 Infinity Edition is priced at Rs 5,899, while Bharat 4 Diwali Edition is available at Rs 4,249. 
 
Through a statement on Monday, Vikas Jain, Co-Founder, Micromax Informatics Ltd, said "By launching not one but two smartphones together, we believe the consumers have a wide array of choices to choose from the Micromax family, depending on their specific needs and requirements." 
 
Further, he stated that both the smartphones run on Android Oreo Go Edition OS, ensuring the best software experience on lesser hardware. 
 
Notably, Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition comes with a 5-inch display, and is packed with 2000mAh battery. Backed by 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage, and it can be further expanded up to 32GB storage via microSD card slot. The phone, running on Android Oreo (Go Edition), features a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel selfie shooter.  
 
Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity Edition is powered by a 5000mAh battery along with a 18:9 full vision display. Backed 5-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, the new Micromax device runs on Android Oreo (Go Edition). The phone has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB. 
 
The phone reportedly boasts of a fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature as well.
 
The company has also partnered with Reliance Jio to provide buyers interesting offers. They will get 25GB of additional data, besides 5GB of additional data on the recharge of Rs 198 and Rs 299 prepaid plans.
