Mi Mix 2S price in India: In a bid to compete against the top line of smartphones like iPhone X and Galaxy S9, Xiaomi is set to launch the Mi Mix 2S in the Chinese city of Shanghai today. Mi Mix 2S's launch event is set to begin at 2 pm local time in Shanghai, which is 11:30 am IST. As far as Mi Mix 2S price in India is concerned, then let it be known that reports have not been very clear about it, but there is speculation that the smartphone may be priced between Rs 38,999 and Rs 41,999, according to an Indian Express report. Rumour mills have been having a field day about the specification of this new smartphone of Xiaomi over the past few months, and the Chinese tech giant on Sunday posted an image on Weibo showing the official invite for the launch. Xiaomi’s global spokesperson and product management director, Donovan Sung, also shared the invite on Twitter stating the launch event on March 27. The invite image also showed that the new device will have the latest Snapdragon 845 SoC along with a random number – 273741 – which is reported to be the AnTuTu score of the smartphone. 
 
According to reports available, Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2S, which succeeds Mi Mix 2, the new smartphone will have a large 5.99-inch screen with a slightly better screen-to-body ratio. Mi Mix 2S may not have the controversial ‘notch’ above the screen and it could come in two finishes of ceramic and glass. Among other specifications, the Mi Mix 2S may boast of in-screen fingerprint scanner and not a circular fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. Xiaomi is not the first company to implement this technology because Vivo has already done it on its X20 smartphone. Mi Mix 2s is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor, which will reportedly enhance its battery life, and ensure faster performance.
 
Xiaomi may introduce 8GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants of Mi Mix 2S, which will have a dual-camera setup on its back. According to the leaks available, the new phone is likely to feature a vertically stacked dual camera on its back. It may have also two 12MP sensors on the rear, besides AI features into the cameras. The front camera will reportedly be placed at the bottom.

Similar to Apple’s iPhone X and Samsung’s Galaxy S9, the wireless charging facility will reportedly be a key feature of the Mi Mix 2s, and the same has been confirmed by Xiaomi. The wireless charging will give an added advantage to the buyers, who need not plug and unplug each time to charge their phone. However, along with this facility, there is one wired charging point also.
