Facebook, Instagram suffer global outage; users logged out of popular social media apps

Instagram and Facebook users around the world have reportedly suffered outages while using the Meta-owned popular social media applications. In India, users reportedly faced the outage on Tuesday at around 8:30 due to unknown technical reasons.
After the outage, many users have not able to send messages or browse posts. Users have also reportedly faced problem while logging in to the app. Some users have also reportedly been logged out of the apps.
Affected users took to X (formerly known as Twitter) reporting not being able to log in and the session expiring across Meta's family of apps.
Meta Communications Director, Andy Stone also took to X saying that they are aware people are having trouble accessing their services and they are working on this issue now.

People from all over India have reported the outage down on Down Detector. Instagram and Facebook are facing outage globally. Both Instagram and Facebook (both owned by Meta) are experiencing outages.
