LeEco launches content integrated Super3 series of TVs in India
Following the $2 billion acquisition of leading US TV maker VIZIO on July 26, LeEco is now making another significant move to expand its globally successful TV business.
LeEco on Thursday announced the launch of its content integrated Ecosystem TVs the Super3 series – Super3 X55, Super3 X65 and Super3 Max65 in India. All three TV support 3D display with the integrated content.
Following the $2 billion acquisition of leading US TV maker VIZIO on July 26, LeEco is now making another significant move to expand its globally successful TV business. The release of the Super3 Series marks the global technology giant’s dedication to further adopt the ecosystem model in India and provide Indian users with the best-in-class experience of internet ecosystem TV, said the company in its release.
"Today we’ve achieved a key milestone in our India journey. We are delighted to unveil our Super3 Series and believe that they will carve a niche in India, giving their unmatched specs and pricing. Our newly launched Super TVs is a testimony to our commitment of bringing top-of-the-line devices and services to our users in India," said Tin Mok, Vice President of Le Holdings and CEO of LeEco Asia Pacific.
"With this launch, our portfolio now boasts of a range of screen sizes, optimised for bigger and futuristic experiences, driven by our content ecosystem. This is in line with our vision of ecosystem technology era, which is all about empowering Indian users with offerings that integrate exclusive content with state of the art technologies at disruptive pricing," said Atul Jain, COO of Smart Electronics Business at LeEco India.
LeEco, had entered the Indian smartphone market earlier this year. It also recently launched its own e-commerce marketplace LeMall which has received encouraging responses from consumers.
