Domestic handset maker LAVA today launched the Z91, a "Z" series smartphone, with a face recognition feature for Rs 9,999. The company is offering a two-year  warranty  on the phone and there is also a cashback offer worth Rs 2,000 by Bharti Airtel. LAVA  Z91 smartphone, which comes in blue colour, will be available at about 1,00,000 retail stores across India by mid-April, the company said. The smartphone comes with 18:9 wide-screen display and glass finish.  "`Z91` is an amalgamation of the latest technology and beautiful design, aimed at meeting all the needs of consumers.  The face recognition feature, full-screen display, and exceptional good looks are the USPs of the device," IANS quoted Gaurav Nigam, Head-Product, Lava International, as saying.

It comes with 3,000mAh battery and according to LAVA, the battery can last up to 24 hours on a single charge. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB. The smartphone has 13MP rear and 8MP front camera with flash and is powered by Mediatek MTK 6739 chipset.    The phone also comes with one-time screen replacement for one year.
