Lava International, the homegrown smartphone manufacturer, has launched the Yuva 3 Pro smartphone. According to the company, the smartphone has been launched keeping in mind young Indian customers who want aesthetically designed models with features of a premium phone at affordable prices.

The smartphone has been priced at Rs 8,999 and is available in three colour variants – Desert Gold, Forest Viridian and Meadow Purple across Lava’s retail network and Lava e-store. 

Lava Yuva 3 Pro - Specs and Features 

The smartphone comes with an AG glass back design with a side fingerprint sensor, 8GB + 8GB (Virtual) RAM + 128GB UFS 2.2 ROM.

In terms of camera, the smartphone has a 50MP Dual AI rear camera with an 8MP front camera for selfies. It has a bottom-firing speaker and face unlock feature for enhanced security, among others. The company offers two years of security updates for its users.

Yuva 3 Pro is powered by a UNISOC T616 Octa-core Processor. It has a 5000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging with a Type-C USB cable. The smartphone runs on Android 13 

The smartphone has a 6.5-inch HD+ punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. 

Meanwhile, a recent study suggested that Lava is expected to witness a substantial increase in its market share in 2024. According to a study conducted by TechArc, there have been significant shifts in the preferences of the youth segment and Lava has emerged as one of the top beneficiaries in 2024.

In 2024, Lava is projected to gain a 4 per cent increase in market share in the youth segment. Students, a vital sub-segment of the youth population, play a pivotal role in shaping brand preferences not only for themselves but also for their families.
