Lava enters into smartwatch segment with launch of Prowatch - Check complete specs and prices

Homegrown smartphone manufacturer has Lava entered into the smartwatch segment with the launch of Prowatch. The company on Tuesday announced that there will be two models - Prowatch ZN and Prowatch VN.

Prowatch ZN comes with segment-first CORNING GORILLA GLASS 3 & high accuracy PPG sensor for continuous heart rate monitoring, fitness tracking, and connected features starting at Rs 2,599. It has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466*466 resolution, health stats, 110+ sports modes, 150 watch faces, smart notifications, and fast charging. 
 
The Prowatch ZN version comes in two variants – Valyrian Grey and Dragonglass Black. Both the variants come with Metal and Silicon Strap. The metal strap variant comes with an additional silicone strap in the box for ease of usability. "The metal strap is tested for around 2 years of corrosion resistance. 65-degree silicone strap gives a perfect blend of durability and flexibility," the company said in a release. 

For those who want to take their calls on the go, this edition includes BT calling for phone-free listening along with quick replies. In addition to that, it comes with an IP68 water-resistant rating.

The company has also launched Prowatch VN which is available in three colours - Delft Blue, Moore Black, and Gull Grey. It has a 1.96-inch TFT 2.5D curved display with a resolution of 320*386 and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Prowatch VN will be available for the customers at a special launch price of Rs 1,999.

The Prowatch ZN and VN will be available for purchase on Amazon, Lava E-store and Lava Retail Network starting from April 26, 12 PM. These smartwatches come 2-year warranty, something Lava claims is first in the segment.
