Lava Agni 2 launch: Lava has officially announced the release date for its much-awaited smartphone - Lava Agni 2. The homegrown smartphone manufacturer has shared the details on its official Twitter handle. According to the company, the flagship smartphone will be unveiled on May 16 at 12 pm. The company has also said that Lava Agni 2 will be exclusively available on the e-commerce platform Amazon. However, the company is yet to officially announce the sale date.

The smartphone manufacturer has not revealed much information about the Agni 2, but reports suggest that it will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 CPU.

According to reports, the smartphone would have a quadruple rear camera system with a 50-megapixel main camera housed in a circular device, together with other three cameras, and an LED flash. The camera will have features like touch-to-focus, facial identification, auto flash, and digital zoom. Additionally, a 16-megapixel front camera will be included for stunning selfies. It will also have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2040 pixel resolution. 

The computer will have 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB or 256 GB of internal memory, and extendable storage of up to 1 TB.

The smartphone will include a C-type charging connection, a 44W fast charging support, and a 5000 mAh battery. Android v13 is anticipated to be the operating system for it. It might have a dual SIM card slot and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles as the power button.

The cost of the item is predicted to be around Rs 20,000. In this price range, it is likely to compete with smartphones from Xiaomi, Realme, Redmi, OnePlus, Motorola, and Samsung.
