Nothing Technologies a London-based consumer tech company has launched its first audio product in India today. The company has launched true wireless earbuds called ear (1) with active noise cancellation (ANC). Nothing ear (1) will be available in India on Flipkart for Rs 5,999 from August 17.

"Nothing ear (1) is a breath of fresh air in a cluttered and indifferent market, setting the tone for our connected digital world to come. “It marries advanced technology, precise engineering, and groundbreaking design at an unbelievable price,"  said Carl Pei, CEO and Co-founder of Nothing.

Nothing like you’ve seen before, the raw beauty of ear (1)’s stripped down aesthetic features transparency to expose the engineering, including microphones, magnets and circuit board. Everything that is ear (1) is there with purpose - from the instantly recognisable red colour signal for ‘Right’ to the case’s playful fisheye dip that helps secure the buds. Not only does it look distinct, ear (1) was designed for advanced comfort, the company said.

The earbuds offer up to 34 hours of playtime with the case, a powerful 11.6mm driver and other leading specifications. The ANC on earbuds uses three high-definition mics to bring music, films and podcasts into sharp focus. The ‘Use Light' mode is for moderate noise cancellation and ‘Maximum' mode is for more noisier environments.

When you're ready to let the world back in, you can activate 'Transparency' mode. For loud and clear calls, Clear Voice Technology was specially-developed for ear (1) to reduce distractive background noise, like wind," the company said.

Each earbud weighs about 4.7 grams and offers pressure-relieving vents, an ergonomic fit and three customisable liquid silicone tips. Also, the Nothing ear (1) comes with 6.2 hours battery life on the buds per charge and 34 hours with the included case. 

With ANC on, users will get 4.55 hours battery life on the buds and and 25 hours with the case. Fast charging will mean users can get 1 hour of juice on the earbuds and 7 hours on case with just 10 minutes of charging. The earbuds’s case also comes with wireless charging support.
