However, the New Delhi launch event schedule will remain the same, on October 30. Only New York launch event has been preponed.  Those who have purchased tickets for the event in India can attend the event on October 30 in New Delhi.

The Chinese phonemaker has reportedly offered to compensate the cost of the flight, hotel bookings and other arrangements for ticket holders, Times Now reported.

OnePlus said that if it would host the event on October 30, the same day as Apple, the OnePlus 6T would have been overshadowed by Apple's product launches.

The company had sold tickets for the OnePlus 6T launch event in New Delhi on the company's website for Rs. 999. The ticket holders as such, will now be able to experience the device first-hand as well as receive special gifts.
