Shah Rukh Khan's high-octane action thriller “Jawan” earned Rs 129.6 crore worldwide and Rs 75 crore in India on day one, making it the biggest opening day in the history of Hindi cinema both globally and in the country, the makers said on Friday.

The pan-India film, directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee and also starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi as well as Deepika Padukone in a special appearance, released worldwide on Thursday in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Described by the makers as a high-octane thriller, "Jawan" outlines the story of a man who sets out to correct the wrongs of society. A Red Chillies Entertainment presentation, "Jawan" is produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma.

Amid the strong opening of the film, the one thing that has caught the attention of several tech enthusiasts is that Shah Rukh Khan is seen using a Poco smartphone in one of the scenes in the film. Interestingly, the actor signed up as an ambassador for POCO competitor Realme in May this year.

The phone used by the actor in the movie is the Poco X4 Pro, which was launched last year.

Poco X4 Pro was launched in three storage variants including 6GB RAM + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. They were priced at Rs 18,999, Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999 at the time of the launch. 

Poco X4 Pro 5G comes with a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display which supports 120Hz high refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 695 octa-core 5G chipset. It has a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.

For selfies and video calls, the smartphone comes with a 16MP front-facing camera. The smartphone runs on Android 11-based MIUI 13. It is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging tech.
