Just after a few weeks of its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024, Apple introduced the beta of iOS 18, touted as one of the tech giant’s major updates. The new version of iOS is set to transform the way users interact, offering a slew of new features. To give an early taser of the fresh features, the iOS 18 public beta has been made available to more than 20 different iPhone models.

• Start with registering your Apple ID at beta.apple.com

• Go to ‘Settings on your iPhone and navigate to ‘General’ followed by ‘Software Update’

• Search for the iOS public beta under the ‘Beta Updates Section and select the option of “Update Now” (The file size will be of approximately 6.98 GB)

• After the download is complete, you need to tap on “Install” to get iOS 18. 

• You are now ready to use the latest version of iOS.

In other news related to the release of Apple's forthcoming iOS 18 operating system, reports had surfaced which suggested that the update is slated to offer amazing features and AI aptitudes. The features will include functionalities such as call recording and transcription functions. The iOS 18 will iPhone users to transcribe calls on command. The new tool will fetch the transcribed calls to Apple Notes and then offer a summary.
